Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.

About the role

As the Finance Business Partner - Supply Chain you will play a critical role in driving commercial performance and informed decision making across multiple sites, partnering closely with operational leaders to deliver insight, optimise cost outcomes and enhance financial processes across transport and site operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting performance reporting to enable strong, data led commercial decision making across multiple sites.
  • Reviewing and analysing site financial P&L performance with a focus on labour and transport cost optimisation.
  • Managing and engaging third party logistics contracts across sites to ensure commercial value.
  • Delivering timely and accurate KPI reporting across weekly and monthly cycles.
  • Supporting annual and periodic planning cycles including budgeting, forecasting and robust risks and opportunities analysis.
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis and financial modelling to support site leadership decision making.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.
  • Managing the commercial impact of continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites.
  • Driving consistency, accuracy and integrity across financial reporting frameworks.

 

About you and your skills

You are a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in complex environments, brings strong analytical capability and is motivated by delivering insights that influence operational outcomes and strategic decisions. You will also bring:

  • CA/CPA qualified coupled with retail/FMCG industry background, ideally with exposure to supply chain finance environments, ideally within large scale or multi-site operations
  • Capability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and influence at multiple levels
  • Proven ability to navigate complex problems and deliver structured, outcome focused solutions
  • Strong analytical capability with experience managing and synthesising multiple data sources
  • Ability to present financial information clearly, drawing out key insights that influence decision making
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on driving efficiency and commercial outcomes
  • Proven ability to identify key drivers of performance and translate them into actionable insights
  • Advanced Excel and analytical capability to support detailed modelling and performance analysis
