About the role


As Finance Business Partner - Group FP&A eCommerce, you will turn complex data into clear commercial insight, strengthen enterprise reporting and enable confident decisions across Coles.


You will also:

  • Own weekly, period close and ad hoc performance reporting for eCommerce and broader stakeholders
  • Partner closely with eCommerce leaders to understand performance drivers, emerging trends, risks and opportunities
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights that support stronger commercial decisions
  • Develop concise performance narratives that connect eCommerce outcomes with the broader Coles Group story
  • Consolidate inputs across finance and business teams to deliver trusted, consistent and timely reporting
  • Identify the KPIs that matter most and provide analysis that supports action, accountability and sustainable growth
  • Simplify, standardise and automate reporting through dashboards, visualisation and smarter finance processes
  • Influence senior stakeholders through credible analysis, constructive challenge and practical recommendations

 

About you and your skills

 

You are a commercially curious finance professional who enjoys working at the intersection of Group FP&A, digital performance and business partnering, with the confidence to challenge thinking and turn insight into action.


You will have:

  • CA, CPA or an equivalent qualification, supported by Big 4/Mid-tier background
  • Experience in Group FP&A within a retail/FMCG or a complex organisation
  • Proven business partnering capability, ideally supporting eCommerce, digital, customer or retail teams
  • Clear and influential communication skills, with the ability to shape executive conversations and decisions
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to identify meaningful performance drivers
  • Experience with TM1, SAP, Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting and automation tools
