About the role
As Finance Business Partner - Fresh Convenience, you’ll lead end-to-end commercial finance and help shape decisions that improve sales, margin, cost and customer outcomes. By connecting upstream operations with commercial plans, you’ll bring clear insight to budgeting, business cases and performance conversations across the portfolio.
You will also:
- Lead integrated budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reviews
- Partner with commercial, category, site and finance leaders on key priorities
- Develop business cases, investment analysis and post-investment reviews
- Identify risks, opportunities and actions to improve sales, margin and profit
- Translate financial and operational data into clear commercial recommendations
- Improve reporting, modelling and finance processes across the end-to-end value chain
About you and your skills
You’re an experienced finance professional with strong commercial judgement and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders through clear, evidence-based insight. You’ll bring category, trade, retail or fast-moving consumer goods experience, together with a collaborative approach that helps teams make better decisions and win together.
You will have:
- A CA, CPA or similar business qualification coupled with Big 4/Mid-tier firm background
- Strong commercial finance, category, trade or retail experience
- Proven experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend alternate actions
- Experience leading budgets, forecasts, business cases and financial modelling
- Proven ability to challenge & influence key business stakeholders to develop ‘win win’ solutions
