About the role


In this role you'll be the go-to person for the Bakery Business Category Manager (BCM) and the broader Bakery team for facts, insights and analysis that enable them to make better decisions to optimise metrics like customer satisfaction, profitability, and sales.  


Provide fact-based insight and commentary on trading performance to enable deep and clear understanding of performance drivers and be proactive to identify opportunities, and influence stakeholder decision making with fact based insightful and innovative analysis.



What you'll be doing


  • Support the governance surrounding business processes and ensure an appropriate audit trail is maintained, particularly with relation to supplier funding.
  • Reliably deliver core financial processes, including setting effective budgets and forecasts, with stakeholders engaged on outcomes and a clear narrative on the drivers of results.
  • Identify and define process improvements to enhance ability to deliver on objectives
  • Complete business cases for any new business initiatives



Good things you'll need


  • Ideally CA, CPA or similar business qualification
  • TM1 experience preferable
  • Finance experience in a retail/FMCG environment desirable but not essential
  • Advanced Excel and modelling skill with process automation experience
  • Strong story telling ability and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience of working with and influencing non-financial stakeholders
  • Proven experience in preparing, understanding, and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend alternate actions
  • Proven ability to challenge & influence key business stakeholders to develop ‘win win’ solutions
  • Able to adapt to changing stakeholder requirements quickly and effectively
