Finance Business Partner, PSA - Fixed Term Contract

Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.

 

About the Role 

 

We have an opportunity available for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Wholesale Finance team. PSA standing for Product Supply Agreement, this role will see you lead the planning and performance processes for the above, including the build and run of Coles Wholesale Services (CWS) reporting, including SLA reporting noting that systems enablement is limited for day 1 for the CWS business.

 

Please note: This role is a 9-month fixed term contract, parental cover.

 

You will also;   

  • Provide fact-based insight and commentary for BAU performance 
  • Influence business partner decision-making with fact based, insightful, and innovative analysis 
  • Support business processes' governance and ensure an appropriate audit trail is maintained 
  • Drive objectives by ensuring business priorities and day-to-day processes are delivered
  • Complete business cases for any new business initiatives 
  • Set adequate budgets and forecasts. Carry out an effective monthly review of results
  • Identify and define system improvements to enhance the ability to deliver on objectives
  • Support the development of the budgeting and forecasting process

 


About you and your skills 

 

We’re looking for a strong financial business partnering background, ideally within the retail/FMCG remit. You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to educate financial and non-financial stakeholders, as well as be comfortable challenging and influencing key stakeholders and working cross-functionally to deliver what’s required.

 

You will also ideally have; 

  • CA/CPA or similar, with commercial awareness and business focus
  • Financial experience in a property/retail/FMCG/complex environment desirable
  • Excellent data manipulation and analytical skills
  • Strong Excel, PowerBI, TM1, financial modelling, and PowerPoint skills
