Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.

 

About the Role 

 

Reporting into the Transformation & Commercial Delivery team, this role will work in partnership with the Head of Capability & Supplier Engagement, Head of Commercial Data, and Head of Commercial Sustainability & Delivery to deliver data-lead financial storytelling and insights, commercial capability and sustainability goals. 

 

You will also;  

  • Establish robust finance operation processes, governance, and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, strengthening our financial foundation
  • Prepare period end reporting, explaining variances to budget/forecasts and identifying key trends, risks and opportunities
  • Support business planning/forecasting models and reporting tools to assist the business in completing accurate and timely periodic forecasting
  • Provide financial support for the development of initiatives, project related business cases (capital/operating expenses) and submissions
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement by automating and simplifying financial processes and analysis

 

  
About you and your skills 

 

We are looking for a dynamic Finance Business Partner with a continuous improvement mindset and track record of execution. This role is best suited to someone with experience working with complex organisations, and confident simplifying complex financial information for financial and stakeholders.

 

You will also have; 

  • CA/CPA or equivalent and relevant tertiary qualification desirable
  • Experience creating and implementing trade plans
  • Experience in a finance role, ideally in retail/FMCG and/or a fast-paced environment
  • Experience producing and presenting insightful commercial and financial reports, and making recommendations
