About the team
Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.
About the role
As a Finance Business Analyst, you will provide meaningful financial insights and commercial support across key categories, partnering closely with Finance Business Partners and category teams to drive performance and informed decision making. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support category performance and commercial outcomes
- Support consolidation and reporting activities across the broader categories portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Assist with forecasting activities, including weekly reporting, standard cost reviews and period end processes
- Partner with Finance Business Partners to validate COGS out initiatives and identify value opportunities across categories
- Analyse key financial and operational metrics to support business performance conversations
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles across the portfolio
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities through data driven analysis and reporting
About you and your skills
You’re a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical and stakeholder engagement capabilities. You thrive in fast-paced environments and bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work. The ideal candidate will have:
- CA/CPA qualified or near qualified, being trained in a Big 4 or mid-tier environment will be highly regarded.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and influencing outcomes.
- Understanding of financial statements and key commercial performance metrics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communicator with ability to simplify complex finance data to a range of stakeholders
- Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Strong systems literacy including advanced Excel capability and exposure to reporting tools
