About the role

 

This role will see you supporting the Swaggle team through a variety of financial objectives, including performance analysis, providing insights to support strong commercial decision-making, daily and bi-weekly bank reconciliation, weekly reporting and more. 

 

You’ll also:

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoice handling, managing invoice processing and coordinate payment runs to vendors via central treasury team
  • Monitor rebate agreements with suppliers and manage weekly and periodic rebates process accordingly
  • Establish weekly reporting framework to provide clear visibility of performance
  • Ensure accurate and timely forecast inputs into Digital Finance & Group Planning/Reporting team
  • Perform daily or bi-weekly bank reconciliation to ensure accurate bank account balances
  • Ensure strong governance and control framework across the business and liaise with other areas of finance at Coles to understand and mitigate impacts

 

 

About you and your skills

  

Starting in this role in a Business Analyst capacity, our ideal candidate will be open to working towards a role more aligned to a Finance Business Partner, who will want to take on more opportunities to upskill and develop their career with a growing Swaggle Finance team.

 

You’ll also ideally have:

  • Prior experience in a commercial partnering role beneficial, but not essential
  • Financial control background to ensure sound accounting practices
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills to support in-depth modelling of performance using available tools (Visual Insights, Power BI)
  • Experience presenting financial information in a clear and concise way which focuses on drawing out insight
  • Experience navigating complex problems and problem-solving
