Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.
<h3>About the Role</h3>
As a Finance Business Analyst in our Liquor Operations team, you’ll drive commercial insight and support strategic decision-making through robust financial analysis and reporting. This role offers exposure to 1000 stores nationally and plays a critical part in enabling operational excellence and continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Deliver financial analysis across store remuneration, expenses, and maintenance
- Partner with stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic priorities
- Assess new initiatives and track benefits to drive continuous improvement
- Benchmark store KPIs and identify trends to inform decision-making
- Understand and report on cost bases to support financial planning
- Ensure forecasts align with operational strategy and business plans
<h3>About You and Your Skills<h3>
You’re a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical and stakeholder engagement capabilities. You thrive in fast-paced environments and bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work. The ideal candidate will have:
- CA/CPA qualified or near qualified, being trained in a Big 4 or mid-tier environment will be highly regarded.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and influencing outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communicator with ability to simplify complex data.
- Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
