Our Coles Liquor team support Liquorland, Liquorland Cellars and Liquorland Warehouse, each with their own unique offering and customer base. With a network of more than 930 stores and ultra-convenient online sites, delivering on our commitment to provide accessible drink solutions for every occasion.

 

About the role

 


We’re seeking an experienced Events & Partnership Manager to lead the development and execution of high-impact sponsorships and activations that strengthen brand awareness and drive customer engagement for Liquorland.

What you’ll do:

 

 

•    Lead the planning and execution of large-scale sponsorships and customer activations from concept through to delivery.
•    Manage relationships with national sporting bodies and commercial partners, ensuring activations are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
•    Translate brand strategy into meaningful customer experiences that drive awareness, consideration and engagement.
•    Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies to ensure alignment and collaboration across every touchpoint.
•    Monitor performance metrics to evaluate success and continuously improve future activations.
•    Navigate challenges confidently, maintaining strong and productive relationships.
•    Support a collaborative and high-performance team culture, where everyone leans in and no task is too small.

 

 

About you and your skills

 


You bring deep experience in managing large scale complex events or sponsorships—ideally in sport or with high-profile brands—and understand the pressure of delivering at scale. You may have worked within sporting organisations like the AFL, for Retail/FMCG/Liquor companies like Asahi Beverages or a leading events & activations agency.

 

Importantly, you thrive in fast-paced environments, value great teamwork, and know how to balance strategy with hands-on delivery.

 

 


You’ll also have:

 

 

•    A strong project discipline, attention to detail, and bring operational excellence to everything you do.
•    A strong understanding of brand-building and customer engagement through events.
•    Excellent communication and influencing skills with a collaborative mindset.
•    Confidence managing multiple projects simultaneously.
