About the role


 
As the Ethical Sourcing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to effectively manage the Ethical Sourcing Program through strong stakeholder engagement,  analysing, assessing, and maintaining Program data; As well as making recommendations to support key stakeholders in determining remedial activities and next steps for compliance.

You’ll also:
 

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication on the status of compliance to the Ethical Sourcing Program, identify areas for improvement, seek opportunities to work proactively
  • Problem solve and collaborate to drive continuous improvement of the Ethical Sourcing program and standards within the supply chains.     
  • Represent the Ethical Sourcing team on a weekly basis in front of key stakeholders within selected business units.
  • Provide strategic recommendations in a timely fashion to the broader Ethical Sourcing team, Business Units and GNFR procurers on supplier non-conformance and methods for supporting supplier to become compliant.
  • Use expert data management skills to provide accurate and concise updates on recommendations and next steps for all interactions.   
    Identify coaching needs, develop, and deliver key information to suppliers
  • As required support delivery of the Ethical Sourcing and Human Rights strategies, including project support and stakeholder engagement 

 

About you and your skills
 

  • 3-5 years experience in ethical sourcing, human rights, risk, compliance, sustainability or equivalent. 
  • Ethically minded, impact-driven, and passionate about making a difference; you’re an exceptional communicator and relationship builder.
  • Self-motivated and capable of owning responsibilities, you bring strong proficiency in Excel. 

 

 

You’ll also have: 

  • Experience in an ethical sourcing, risk, compliance, legal, quality, or equivalent role.
  • Skilled at preparing program policy, documentation
  • Background in ethical sourcing including understanding of international standards
  • Excellent stakeholder management Negotiation and Influencing skill
  • As required support delivery of the Ethical Sourcing and Human Rights strategies, including project support and stakeholder engagement
