What you’ll be doing


The Coles Supply Chain Technology Team is delivering a world class anytime, anywhere supply chain, a multi-channel, integrated supply chain offering superior service to our customers.

The technology-lead supply chain will be enabled by a connected, flexible and reliable ecosystem of modern supply chain technologies.

As part of the Supply Chain Technology team you will be embarking on a revolutionary Supply Chain modernisation program, which will see the development and implementation of world-class systems and technologies that are the cornerstone of Coles’ strategic Smarter Selling program.


To enable this modernisation, we are seeking talented technology professionals with a passion and background in logistics automation, complex program delivery and an ability to implement multi-faceted technologies through new and emerging implementation practices.


Your day to day key responsibilities for this role will include:


  • Manage the Azure & DevOps development teams and activity, including 3rd party vendors
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and infrastructure teams to facilitate the migration of on-premises systems to private cloud solutions
  • Deliver and contribute to IT Strategy and roadmap by leading Azure, DevOps and infrastructure components of Supply Chain systems.
  • Provide technical mentorship, drive innovation and improvement across infrastructure, platform operations, processes, toolsets and the full technology stack
  • Monitor and maintain the azure systems and consumption costs.


Good things you’ll need


  • Extensive experience in managing cloud technologies
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD for a new system and familiar with methodologies
  • Experience in scoping, building and delivering medium to large cloud based technical projects
  • To have led and managed delivery teams and outsourced partners
  • Have managed SLA delivery with third party service providers
  • Experience with migration of on-premises solutions to the cloud platform is essential
  • Strong understanding and experience in Cloud delivery methodologies
  • Understanding of Supply Chain systems would be great but not essential
