About the role
We are seeking an experienced Kronos WFC & UKG Pro Dimensions Engineer to support, enhance, and optimize our workforce management platforms.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate timekeeping, auditing, payroll compliance, system integrations, data integrity and ongoing platform performance across a complex enterprise environment.You will work closely with Payroll, Legal, HR, IT, Operational Support and business stakeholders to translate workforce requirements into scalable, compliant, and high performing system solutions.
Platform Configuration & Support
• Configure and maintain Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) and UKG Pro Dimensions
• Design and maintain complex pay rules, accrual policies, attendance rules, and scheduling configurations
• Support Workforce Genies, Hyperfind queries, and Labor costing structures
• Manage device configuration and timeclock integrations
Integration & Technical Engineering
• Design, build, and support integrations using:
o Workforce Integration Manager (WIM)
o Boomi (or equivalent middleware)
o Azure Data Factory (ADF)
o SFTP based file interfaces
• Maintain the Integration between our WFM platforms and Payroll, Finance and data insights systems.
Troubleshooting & Optimization
• Investigate and resolve pay calculation discrepancies
• Perform root cause analysis across configuration and integrations
• Monitor interface reconciliations and data integrity
• Optimize system performance and scalability
Transformation & Delivery
• Support WFC to Dimensions migration initiatives (where applicable)
• Assist with data validation, parallel runs, and cutover activities
• Contribute to system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
Governance & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, enterprise agreements, and award interpretation (where applicable)
• Maintain documentation, configuration standards, and change controls
• Support audit and risk management requirements
About you and your skills
• 3-5 years hands on experience with Kronos Workforce Central
• Experience with UKG Pro Dimensions configuration and support
• Strong understanding of pay rules and work rules building blocks and impacts
• Experience building and supporting system integrations
• Proficiency in APIs, XML/JSON, and middleware platforms (Boomi preferred)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting WFC → Dimensions migrations
• Experience in large, complex enterprise environments
• Retail or high volume workforce industry experience
• Exposure to compliance heavy payroll environments
