Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. As a part of the Technology team, you get the opportunity to work through complex, challenging, meaningful problems using large data sets and new technologies to expand your skills and experience.

 

About the role

 

The Data & Power Platform team within the broader Coles Technology team focuses on building data and analytic capabilities to uncover customer, teams, products, and operational insights, providing data driven support to our users, and enabling Coles to be a data driven organisation.

 

We are in the middle of an exciting journey to enable analytics, low-code apps, flows using Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI & Power Platform. You will oversee the smooth delivery of Power Platform and Data Platform initiatives in line with best practices while supporting the team and strategy. You will contribute to providing operational support to platform stakeholders ensuring the platform is up and running within defined SLAs.

 

 

Your key responsibilities will include the following but not be limited to: 

 

  • Participate in the development of the vision for Power Platform & Data Platform architecture
  • Supports technical design activities related to Power Platform application software, data, databases, packaged solutions and infrastructure components.
  • Share knowledge and experience across the team
  • Effective Communication with key stakeholders around the delivery of key initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by cultivating relationships with stakeholders to improve their understanding and knowledge of Power Platform & Data Platform
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment using an Agile Based Method
  • Analyse, interpret and solve difficult problems, engaging stakeholder input to produce innovative, robust, and supportable solutions.
  • Create and maintain high quality Technical Solution and Documentations
  • Administer the Power Platform & Power BI landscape
  • Provide operational support for Power Platform capability
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power Platform solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Microsoft Power Platform and suggest improvements to enhance existing solutions.
  • Automate solution deployment using CI/CD in DevOps.
     

About you 
 

  • Extensive experience in administering Microsoft Power Platform 
  • Extensive experience in configuration of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Solid grasp of the Power Platform Environment administration, and working with the admin portals
  • Feature knowledge & best practices for building and delivering PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Common Data Service / Dataverse
  • Proven understanding of Power Platform and Microsoft 365 user license management
  • Solid grasp of Dataverse and model-driven Power Apps
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, and Azure AD
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, Snowflake & Azure will be a bonus
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python. PowerShell
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Experience in Agile ways of working
  • Experience in Git, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, & other Azure services
  • Experience in creating basic Power Apps solutions and working with the Power Platform
