Our Coles Liquor team work across three leading brands (Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars), each with their own unique offering and customer base. With a network of more than 930 stores and ultra-convenient online sites, delivering on our commitment to provide accessible drink solutions for every occasion.
About the role
As a Design Manager - Liquor in our Store Development team, you will be responsible for managing liquor design planning requirements and programs for new stores, renewals, extensions, and acquisitions.
You'll also:
- Develop project plans from project commencement to launch
- Partner with Coles/ Liquor Project Managers to ensure all Liquor stores are opened to the signed off agreed plan, with latest Liquor standards on time and within budget
- Manage, coordinate, engage and influence key internal stakeholders to ensure a successful scheme is agreed and approved
- Manage the planning input to key approval meetings, working with all state teams to ensure quality of presentations and accuracy of plans
- Manage external consultants and ensure documentation outcomes for new, renewal, extension, replacement, acquisition projects are accurate and are reflective of current standards
- Provide architectural and technical advice relating to concept and project plans
About you and your skills
This role will leverage your proven retail experience in a design focussed role. Your experience in managing multiple projects and a variety of moving parts will be essential. This exciting role will also enable you to bring your strong stakeholder management skills to the front to add value and impact in the work you will do!
You’ll need:
- Sound working knowledge of REVIT and CAD
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Industrial Design will be well regarded, technical architectural drafting or related areas essential
- Retail design background highly regarded
- Experience with retail planning & design with onsite experience
- Knowledge of construction details, costing/budgeting experience to ensure project delivery
- Management of Internal and External Stakeholders and manage relationships in fast paced environment
