About the role

With over 2500 retail locations around the country, our Property team looks after one of the most dynamic portfolios in Australia. Working with teams across the business, we provide a range of services from site acquisition, leasing and renewals, through to development, construction and asset management. We’re growing too, so it’s a great time to jump on board and build your career.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work collaboratively with many other functional teams to design, scope and cost projects for new Liquor stores for both leasehold and freehold teams aligned to Store Development operational and design requirements.

 

Other ways you can make an impact include:

  • reviewing and evaluating development opportunities for new space
  • planning and approval of projects for delivery within corporate plan pipeline
  • gaining approvals in conjunction with other Property Teams
  • conducting due diligence on schemes, including detailed risk assessments and mitigation for all approved plans

 

Good things you’ll need

  • strong understanding of retail planning, preferably in food and liquor retailing
  • expertise in design solutions, AFL, lease negotiations, DAs, necessary design development requirements and building contracts
  • demonstration of financial acumen and cost management
  • strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • the ability to challenge stakeholders appropriately
