Through the Liquorland banner, our Coles Liquor team work to bring the drinks our customers want, when and how they want them. With a network of more than 900 stores and ultra-convenient online sites, the team deliver on our commitment to provide accessible drink solutions for every occasion.
About the role
We’re looking for Demand & Systems Specialists to join our Supply Chain team, playing a critical role in optimising forecasting and replenishment across our Liquor network.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll drive system performance, improve forecast accuracy, and ensure our stores and distribution network are stocked efficiently to deliver great customer experiences.
In this role, you will support forecasting and replenishment across stores and warehouses, ensuring optimal stock flow, availability, and system performance. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, eCommerce and Operations to continuously improve processes, systems, and outcomes. You will also play a key role in major event planning (e.g. Christmas and Easter), system rollouts, and ongoing optimisation of replenishment and forecasting tools.
Please note: This opportunity is an 18-month fixed term contract.
You will also:
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy and system performance
- Optimise replenishment settings to drive availability and stock efficiency
- Analyse system and process issues and implement improvements across the network
- Support new store setups, refurbishments and operational changes
- Lead and support key event planning for peak trading periods
- Drive adoption and continuous improvement of supply chain systems (e.g. Relex, forecasting tools)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver business KPIs
- Provide insights and reporting to support decision-making and performance outcomes
About you and your skills
You’re a highly analytical and commercially minded supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You enjoy solving complex problems, working with data, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive meaningful improvements. With a strong understanding of demand planning and replenishment systems, you bring a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.
You’ll also ideally have:
- Proven experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning or Replenishment (Retail or FMCG)
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills (forecasting, KPIs, root cause analysis)
- Experience working with replenishment or forecasting systems
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across multiple teams
- Demonstrated success in process or system improvement initiatives
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with high attention to detail
