As part of the broader Technology team, Corporate Systems are responsible for the development and support of applications across multiple enterprise platforms including Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Risk, Safety and Legal. 

 


About the role

 

A highly sought-after opportunity has become available for an experienced Delivery Manager to join our team. Directly reporting to our Head of People Technology, this position focuses on project delivery for people applications including SAP SuccessFactors.

 

As part of this role, you will be required to lead and manage the demand pipeline and delivery of the People & Culture Digital Roadmap. This includes engagement with key stakeholders across the organisation on ideas, business problems, solutions and initiatives which require investment


You will lead the direction, solution and delivery in partnership with sponsors, business owners and project managers, including cost to-implement and identification of delivery risk as well as managing and prioritising continuous improvement and  investment demand. You will be responsible for the identification, planning and coordination of projects within a program of business change, to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies and objectives. 

 

You will have exceptional vendor management skills as you will be required to establish and manage vendor and partner arrangements and ensure the alignment of performance objectives and activities. 

 

Stakeholder management is a must have and you have extensive experience using metrics to measure, influence, negotiate and initiate change and behaviours that directly impact customer success. You have the ability to tell a story and can translate complex technical solutions and advice into clear, specific information that is understood by all 


You have previous team leadership experience and will be accountable for the development of individuals/ team, including initiation and validation of career development plan as well as providing clear  direction, guidance and motivation


A key requirement for this role is extensive experience with SuccessFactors and ideally also employee central

 

We are ideally looking for someone with a strong SuccessFactors/SAP experience together with exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive and develop mutually beneficial relationships.

 

 

About you and your skills

 

•    At least 15 years IT experience, as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Program Manager, or Consulting role, in a waterfall or an agile environment, with experience delivering large programs of work, as well as minor works, including project to BAU       considerations. 
•    Advanced understanding of all aspects of the technology’s broader operational environment (i.e. processes, procedures, associated toolsets, operating systems, etc.). 
•    A passionate people leader who has lead members from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, running in multi speed and cadence delivery methods ·
•    The ability to define and execute strategies that map the technology deliverables to the business goals 
•    Experience in maturing project delivery capabilities. 
•    Expert interpersonal and leadership skills that enable you to communicate and manage relationships across the organisation – from your reports, peers, vendors and partners, stakeholders to senior executives 
•    Experience using metrics to measure, influence and initiate change and behaviours that directly impact customer success 
•    Proven capabilities in vendor, partner and stakeholder relationship management 
•    Demonstrated success in enabling the launch of high quality and business critical products, in a complex enterprise production environment ·
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence and persuade outcomes 
•    Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority 
•    Experience managing relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders 
•    Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
