About the role

 

 


This 12 month fixed term contract or secondment will see you lead Coles’ content and audience strategy across print and digital channels to drive customer loyalty and engagement. 

 


You’ll identify customer and audience needs, translate them into a unified annual content calendar and oversee the creation and optimisation of content assets. 

 


With a focus on clear planning, strong stakeholder alignment and insight-led delivery, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of Coles omni-channel content direction and bring it to life across recipes, Own Brand, In Season and campaign integration.

What you will do

 

 


You will lead the content planning process end to end, bringing clarity to complex stakeholder inputs and translating them into clear and actionable briefs. 

 


You will work closely with channel specialists and agency partners to ensure assets are delivered on time, aligned to customer needs and supported by insights that help the business continuously improve.

 

 


You’ll also

 

 


•    Develop comprehensive, channel-agnostic content briefs informed by customer and audience insights.
•    Manage the annual content calendar and secure alignment across key business stakeholders.
•    Lead production, implementation and optimisation of print and digital content assets.
•    Consolidate multiple inputs into clear, prioritised content plans aligned to marketing strategy.
•    Report on omni-channel plans, campaign performance and opportunities for improvement.

 

 

 

About you and your skills

 

 


You’re currently an experienced content, brand or campaign manager / planner with the ability to think strategically while managing complex delivery. 

 


You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing diverse stakeholders and leading teams to create high-quality content across print and digital. 

 


You bring sound editorial judgement, operational discipline and a collaborative way of working that brings people with you.

 

 


You will also have:

 

 


•    Strong project management skills with the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving.
•    Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence across diverse teams.
•    The ability to simplify complex information into clear and actionable briefs and recommendations.
•    Expertise in marketing communications, including content strategy, multi-channel content management and implementation.
•    Extensive agency management experience, including contract negotiation and budget oversight.
•    Demonstrated experience in budget management for content or campaign delivery.
