What you’ll be doing 

 


 
Reporting to Senior Manager Strategic Communications & PR, you’ll be empowered to develop and execute national media consumer campaigns to enhance and protect Coles’ reputation.
 
Focusing on Coles Liquor, we need your help telling our customers about new product launches, consumer campaigns, sustainability initiatives, store openings, awards, partnerships and promotions. 
 
A typical day will involve working with the Liquor team to develop PR opportunities, writing media releases, pitching stories, building relationships with journalists and key internal stakeholders, and monitoring and reporting on media performance.  

 


 

What you bring

 


 
With 3+ years’ experience, you’re a proactive PR Agency Account Manager or an in-house Communications Advisor. Your sweet spot is consumer PR and you’re known for your exceptional writing skills, creative thinking, and your ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. 


 
 
You’ll also need

 

 

•    Proven ability working in a proactive media relations capacity
•    Experience in liaising effectively with journalists and acting as spokesperson if required
•    Experience developing and implementing engaging campaigns through a variety of mainstream, online and social media channels
•    Tertiary qualification in media, communications, journalism or equivalent.
