About the Role  


As a Communications & Engagement Partner, you will own a range of partnerships with Support Centre stakeholders and work with them to plan activity and land communications with our Supermarket teams across the country. 

You’ll work with business partners to develop clear, compelling communications and support documents for Supermarket teams. You’ll lead the way providing communications support and advice, making decisions on communication timing, audience, channels, stakeholder impacts, reputational risks and opportunities.
 
You will also: 
•    Use established communication tools and channels to deliver the right message at the right time to the right audience
•    Ensure all communication is simple, compelling and easy to understand 
•    Work with the Operations team to approve all communication and documentation in-line with operating standards
•    Share on-call responsibilities with other Communications team members on a rotating basis
•    Work with operations teams to validate operational rigour of all communication and documentation and alignment to current business standards
 
About you and your skills


You will have:
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
•    Experience developing professional communications and documentation, including writing, proof reading and editing
•    The ability to manage stakeholder expectations / influence outcomes
•    The ability to multitask, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and focus on continuous improvement
•    A high attention to detail, quality control and customer focus
•    Knowledge of retail operations is highly desirable
•    A degree or equivalent business qualification in communications, writing/editing is highly desirable
