About the role

Reporting to the Head of Network Development & Customer Delivery, you are responsible in supporting the growth of Coles Online through commercial analysis and assessment of the delivery network, delivery partners and sourcing opportunities for new channel growth.

 

What you’ll be doing

On a day-to-day basis you’ll be supporting with one of our key project Last Mile Network with commercial analysis to develop our online network plan. You work collaboratively with external partners to help build flexible capacity options into the online delivery network.

You’ll also:

  • Create business cases and funding requests to pilot and trial new partners and initiatives before handing over to the project delivery teams
  • Assist and provide guidance on cost reduction through commercial analysis and working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
  • Build relationships with external partners to enhance the experience and profitability of Coles delivery and collection offerings.


Good things you’ll need

We’re looking for a pragmatic business partner with proven experience in providing commercial analysis and insights.

You’ll also need

  • Experience in leading strategic initiatives and driving business improvement outcomes
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to identify trends of poor performance and their operational causes and provide solutions to improve results
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills to influence at all levels including senior stakeholders
  • Ability to identify new sales and operations opportunities to drive overall state coverage and fulfilment
  • Excellent communication, planning, organisational and project management skills
  • Previously experience with Agile ways of working will be highly regarded
