About the role
Take ownership for the strategic MDSC plan and roadmap and play a key role in transforming the future of the BU. This full-time role will give you the opportunity to use your background in category management or planning to make a real difference to our commercial strategy and performance.
You will also:
- Be responsible for stakeholder engagement within MDSC and for representing MDSC cross-functionally - acting as the key conduit on key projects and as the key integrator across the BCMs
- Facilitate trading opportunities and proposition development to deliver a customer led offer across the BU
- Serve as a trusted, versatile and strategic partner to the MDSC Leadership team and specifically as a trusted partner to the GM
- Act as the conscience of the customer for the teams
- Support all key business events that require MDSC involvement and support
About you and your skills
You will have:
- Experience in Retail and/or FMCG experience, particularly in category management
- Demonstrated history of identifying commercially feasible and innovative solutions to problems
- Strong problem-solving skills with strategic mindset, structured thinking, and approach
- Curious and engaging; hungry to drive positive change through collaboration, conviction, care and courage
