This is an exciting opportunity to influence outcomes, deliver category plans, and ensure customer-centric solutions that make a real impact.
In this role, you’ll be the strategic connector across Health & Home, ensuring seamless collaboration between category teams and cross-functional stakeholders. You’ll lead governance for the category roadmap, monitor progress against key milestones, and provide insights that shape decision-making at senior levels. From coordinating supplier forums and leadership events to driving trading opportunities and championing customer-first initiatives, you’ll play a critical part in delivering outcomes that align with both commercial goals and customer expectations.
You’ll also:
- Take ownership of the strategic Health & Home plan and roadmap, playing a key role in transforming the future of the business unit, ensuring alignment with commercial and customer objectives
- Act as the key conduit for Health & Home, engaging stakeholders and coordinating major projects and events
- Govern and track progress on category initiatives, reporting into leadership and broader forums
- Champion customer-led outcomes and support key business events
- Facilitate trading opportunities and foster ways of working that deliver the best possible customer offer
- Serve as a trusted, versatile, and strategic partner to the Leadership Team, confidently engaging in challenging situations and conversations, consistently representing and advancing the team’s short and long-term interests
About you and your skills
Our ideal candidate is a natural influencer with strong commercial acumen and a passion for delivering customer-led outcomes. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can pivot quickly to meet changing priorities, and have a proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Your ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels, combined with exceptional organisational skills, makes you a trusted partner to senior leaders. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated by making a tangible impact, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll also ideally have:
- Proven experience in category management or buying, with strong knowledge of retail operations
- Experience in Retail and/or FMCG experience, particularly in category management
- Demonstrated history of identifying commercially feasible and innovative solutions to problems
- Strong problem-solving skills with strategic mindset, structured thinking, and approach
- Curious and engaging; hungry to drive positive change through collaboration, conviction, care and courage
