About the role

Reporting to the National Operations Commercial Manager, this 12-month fixed term role will be responsible for developing the workforce planning initiatives and analysis of operational cost to identify and present commercial opportunities to improve store performance.

 

What you’ll be doing

On a day-to-day basis you will be providing insight into how we can structure and approach labour models to best support our availability and commerciality. You will undertake periodical reviews of store cost lines, support analysis around incentive programs and communicate commercial opportunities to the business. This role will engage with stakeholders to build pre and post impact analysis, understanding our customer needs as well as ensuring we are aligned to commercial requirements.

 

This role will also play a key role in the continuous improvement, optimisation and simplification of workforce planning, assist in building a business cases to support new initiatives.

 

Good things you’ll need

We are looking for a detail oriented professional with strong understanding of workforce planning and inventory systems. You have strong analytical capabilities and the ability to identify root causes of issues.

 

You’ll also need

  • demonstrated experience in business analysis and data modelling ideally for workforce planning/labour modelling within large corporations
  • project management skills and advanced MS Excel skills to create and present detailed reports
  • strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • ability to present complex data and concepts to senior stakeholders to influence decision making.
  • experience in utilising data analytics to influence key business partners and drive change
  • previous exposure to Kronos will be highly regarded
