About the Role:
Are you ready to take the reins and drive Coles into its next century of success? We're on the hunt for a dynamic and strategic Capability Manager to join our team. This isn't just any role – it's a pivotal position that will shape our learning strategy and ensure Coles has the capabilities it needs to dominate today and in the future. You'll be at the heart of our stores and sites, working closely with top executives in operations, and sitting within our Centre of Excellence.
What you will doing:
- Lead the Change: Define the 3 year Capability strategy for Supermarkets, Liquor & Distribution Centres to drive business outcomes.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with key stakeholders annually to outline the learning programs for the entire organisation.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Research and implement external thought leadership and best practices.
- Program Management: Oversee the execution of the Learning strategy and plan, managing stakeholders, prioritising tasks, and ensuring effective measurement and reporting.
- Effective at landing learning solutions at scale utilising dynamic resource pooling.
About you:
- Seasoned Professional: Extensive experience in Learning, Organisational Design, or Leadership development roles.
- Project Manager: Proven track record of leading end-to-end learning design across multiple projects and methodologies.
- Influential Leader: Experience in complex, matrixed organisations with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
- Strategic Visionary: Demonstrated ability to set and deliver on strategic goals.
- Retail Savvy: Ideally, experience in the Retail sector or large scale organisations with customer facing team members.
- Matrix Master: Experience in a matrix structure within a large-scale organisation and working with dynamic resourcing models.
- Educational Excellence: Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Adult Education, Psychology or equivalent workplace experience and demonstrated development.
