About the role
As a CRM / Customer Analyst, you’ll play a key role in enabling smarter, data-led marketing decisions across one of Australia’s largest customer bases. This is a hands-on analytics role focused on working with large, complex first-party datasets to drive segmentation, campaign targeting, and measurable commercial outcomes.
You’ll partner closely with marketing stakeholders, but your strength will sit in your technical capability. You’ll own the data work end-to-end and translate it into clear, actionable insights that influence decisions.
Applications for this role will close Friday April 10.
What you will do
This role is focused on using customer data to drive targeted marketing and measure its impact. This is not a front-end digital analytics role.
You’ll work across large datasets to build audience segments, support campaign delivery, and evaluate performance using structured, data-led approaches. A key part of the role is linking analysis to commercial outcomes and helping stakeholders understand what is driving performance.
You’ll also
• Build and manage customer segments using SQL and marketing data platforms
• Analyse large, complex customer and transactional datasets to identify growth opportunities
• Design and evaluate test and control frameworks to measure incremental campaign impact

About you and your skills
You’re a hands-on data analyst with 2+ years experience and a background in marketing or customer analytics, comfortable working directly with large, complex datasets. You bring strong technical capability and can clearly link your work to business outcomes.
You’re confident working independently, owning your analysis end-to-end, and engaging stakeholders to ensure your insights drive action.
You will also have
• Strong SQL capability across data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
• Background in customer or marketing analytics, including segmentation and profiling
• Experience working with first-party or transactional datasets at scale
• Experience in direct marketing channels and how data supports targeting and performance
• Experience with marketing measurement approaches, including test and control methodologies.
