About the role

We're looking for an experienced Business System Manager to lead the strategy, governance, optimisation and continuous improvement of our Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) platform.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Data, you'll play a critical role in shaping the vision and roadmap for one of our key commercial business systems while leading a high-performing team and partnering with stakeholders across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded leader who thrives on delivering technology-enabled business outcomes, driving operational excellence, and influencing stakeholders across a complex organisation.

As the SRM Business System Manager, you will own the end-to-end management of the SRM platform, ensuring it remains operationally effective, fit-for-purpose, and aligned to our broader commercial strategy.

You’ll also:

  • Define, prioritise and execute the SRM platform vision, strategy and roadmap.
  • Assess and prioritise business requests, opportunities and platform enhancements.
  • Lead the ongoing management, maintenance and optimisation of the SRM platform.
  • Oversee production releases, defect management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive platform governance, reporting, KPI tracking and risk management activities.
  • Translate business requirements into prioritised user stories and delivery outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Commercial IT, support teams and third-party providers to ensure platform stability and effectiveness.
  • Maintain knowledge repositories, process documentation and system training materials.
  • Lead and develop a team of SRM Business Analysts, building capability and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Provide senior stakeholders with strategic insights, roadmap updates and recommendations.

About you and your skills

We're looking for a collaborative and strategic people leader who combines strong business system expertise with a commercial mindset. You'll be comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments, influencing decision-making at senior levels, and balancing strategic priorities with operational execution.

You'll bring a passion for continuous improvement, a customer-focused approach to problem solving, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions. Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys building strong partnerships and helping teams succeed.

You’ll also ideally have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Retail industry experience (highly regarded).
  • Experience with SRM platforms and/or Salesforce Customer 360.
  • Experience owning or managing enterprise platforms, ideally within Supplier Relationship Management environments.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing business-critical operating processes.
  • Demonstrated success delivering strategic initiatives and driving platform roadmaps.
  • Experience managing system releases, defect resolution and operational governance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and business process mapping capabilities.
  • Ability to identify commercially viable and innovative solutions.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
