Central Operations keeps our business moving. Our team cares for, supports, and empowers our retail teams across the country. We help them be at their best, so they can deliver the best experiences for our customers every day.

 

About the role 

As a Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for working with various stakeholders on defining how Coles deploys its network of over 100,000 team members to ensure we can deliver for our customers everyday
 

You will also:  
 

  • Build and maintain labour models to dynamically guide store leadership on how to deploy their teams in an effective and efficient manner
  • Ensure internal workforce planning systems accurately reflect all business requirements, work rules and productivity expectations
  • Own the process of developing, planning, documenting and validating a consistent approach to data and logic
  • Work closely with a diverse stakeholder group and promote increased understanding of how labour models work for non-technical stakeholders
  • Be a key point of contact for Workforce Planning queries
  • Support the successful delivery of business initiatives with the right labour targets
  • Support stores to understand and achieve labour spend targets
  • Collaborate with our external vendors to ensure all labour models are in line with business standardSupport the wider team with the continuous improvement of all workforce planning tools and processes

About you and your skills


We are looking for someone that has some exposure to data modelling environments preferably with a retail operations lens.

You will also have:

  • Proven experience in retail/stores operations (FMCG/large scale retailer preferred)
  • Demonstrated labour, financial or workforce modelling experience, with a clear understanding of relevant processes and methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing bespoke models from disparate or incomplete data sources
  • The ability to translate and present complex modelling concepts in simple language
  • Experience with time & attendance and rostering systems (Kronos preferred)
