About the team
Logistics delivers. Our team supports one of the largest supply chain and distribution networks in Australia. We work collaboratively with our transport partners around the country to get stock where it needs to be on time, every time.
About the role
You will be responsible for growing a portfolio of Coles Collect customers, by thoroughly understanding the suppliers business, key drivers and metrics. Creating innovative ways to develop new business and deliver consistent growth.
You will also:
- Develop commercially compelling transport solutions from data collection, analytics and modelling
- Work cross functionally across several internal stakeholders, understanding all supplier involvement
- Identify commercial development opportunities for your portfolio and communicate effectively to the wider business
- Maintain customer retention by focusing on end to end solutions and joint initiatives
- Make ownership of the tender process by developing engaging presentations and bid material
About you and your skills
- Experience working in a transport or supply chain related field within FMCG is desired
- Strong commercial acumen, specifically in an FMCG or retail environment
- Proven track record of developing customer solutions ranging in size and volume
- Excellent communication skills with experience of building effective and fruitful relationships internally & externally
- Ability to work autonomously and to make quick effective decisions
- Ability to identify and communicate commercial opportunities in a passionate and engaging way
