About the role

 

We currently have an opportunity for a permanent Business Category Coordinator to join the Events team (Collectibles and Continuity, Best Buys and Seasonal Events).

Reporting to the Category Manager and supporting the broader team, your time will be spent managing all administration duties for product samples, marketing and promotional activity, supplier relationships and queries from customers and stores.

 

On a day-to-day basis you’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all master data elements are loaded into the relevant enterprise system accurately and support our data integrity.
  • Support the end-to-end promotional planning including forecasting, execution, and tracking performance.
  • Partner and support in key category projects and marketing requests for promotional activity
  • Manage ad hoc category administration projects
  • Respond to category related queries from customers, Suppliers and stores

Bring genuine enthusiasm and desire to learn and grow into this role and have impact in the work that you do.  This role will leverage your keen eye for detail and your ability to understand data.  

You will have:

 

•    Strong customer service and administration background

•    Commercial mindset and ability to think laterally.

•    Proactive nature which drives you to go above and beyond to get the job done.

•    High attention to detail in everything that you do

•    The ability to support the team in the smooth administration of the categories.

•    Strong stakeholder management skills
