About the role
We’re looking for a detail-driven and proactive Business Category Coordinator (BCC) to support our Commercial team. Reporting to the Data Governance Manager, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of product data across our systems.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and managing product data in line with established standards, supporting everything from SKU induction through to ongoing data updates, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes.
You’ll also:
- Maintain and manage Commercial product data in line with governance processes and standards
- Induct, modify, and derange SKUs within core retail systems (RMS)
- Ensure accuracy of key product attributes including unit pricing, shelf life, and country of origin
- Support POS marketing compliance by verifying product information on in-store materials
- Perform bulk updates (e.g. MLOR) and ongoing attribute maintenance
- Collaborate with Business Category Managers, Category Managers and other stakeholders to capture and maintain item data
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure accurate and complete data submission
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
About you and your skills

You’re someone who enjoys working with data, is naturally curious, and is motivated to continuously improve processes and outcomes. With a strong sense of ownership and accountability, you’re comfortable managing competing priorities and working to deadlines.
You’ll also ideally have:
- Familiarity with merchandise systems (e.g. RMS, SharePoint, BI tools) is advantageous
- Previous experience in data entry or customer service
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Intermediate Excel skills (highly desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- A proactive, self-directed approach with a strong sense of accountability
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
