What you’ll be doing

 

As Business Analyst you will support the Laverton Distribution Centre (DC) finance & commercial function to provide the Distribution Centre Manager's (DCM’s) and operations teams within VIC accurate and timely information relating to the weekly and monthly Rem and Non-rem results, forecasts and risks and opportunities.

 

In addition you’ll

  • Provide commercial support to Transport involving volume rebates, rate reviews, reconciliations and analysis.
  • Drive the budgeting process in VIC on behalf of finance, including establishing useful tools and analysis to enable better planning and decision making.
  • Support the supply chain finance team in the delivery of key initiatives which drive efficiencies and cost reductions within a safe working environment.
  • Working in partnership with the DCM’s and supply chain project managers across the business to implement central initiatives with commercial decision support, governance, and ensuring operations strategies and initiatives deliver benefit for the network.

 

 

Good things you need

 

  • Experience Supply Chain & Logistics preferred
  • A relevant Degree or Qualification, CA or CPA equivalent desirable
  • Varied finance background covering financial control, financial reporting, planning & analysis and business partnering. Experience in influencing to improve the strategic direction and performance of the business.
  • Strong IT skills (Access, Excel, SAP, TM1 – would be ideal)
  • Be located at the Laverton Distribution Centre 4 days/week
