About the role

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing analytical and reporting support and engaging with various stakeholders.

We have an opportunity for a Business Analyst to utilise their strong analytical skills and provide the business with insights and develop tools for the Liquor business.


What you’ll be doing

  • Work with various internal systems to create daily and weekly reporting tools
  • Analysis, insight and recommendation on trends in KPIs
  • Monitoring and reporting on range management, clearance impacts and range reporting/analysis
  • Implementation of projects through interaction with stores, internal and external business functions
  • Post Implementation Review through data collection and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensuring continuous improvement through documenting success and identifying areas of opportunities


 Good things you’ll need

  • prior experience within an analytical role within a complex retail environment
  • the ability to develop reports and use large sets of data from multiple sources to drive change
  • excellent problem solving, numeracy and communication skills and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • advanced excel skills required to manipulate data and create simple business user tools; including use of external data sources, pivot tables, power queries, macros and advanced excel functions
  • SQL experience is desirable to access data stored in databases
  • experience in merchandise / retail is desirable (there is a lot of decision making relating to product)
  • strong analytical and system skills – including MS Excel, MS Powerpoint MS Access and database systems #LI-BU
