About the role 


A fantastic opportunity to join our Operations Transformation team has arisen on a permanent basis.   As Business Analyst in the team, you will partner and support the team to drive and deliver key objectives within division with end-to-end visibility. What you’ll be doing:  


  • Governance over the $1bn Smarter Selling Cost out program (stakeholder engagement & management, reporting, partnering with Centre of Excellence delivery team)
  • Influence business decision making with fact-based actionable insights across Supply Chain and Store Operations
  • Generate insights and recommendations that will drive end to end profitability improvement, through advanced modelling and analysis of financial and non-financial data (e.g. market insights and trends, profitability, cost and efficiency analysis)
  • Contribute to subsequent enhancements to reporting and insight generation


Good things you’ll need 


  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Experience with big data, identifying insights and story telling
  • Finance experience in a retail/FMCG environment desirable but not essential
  • Proven experience in structured problem solving, preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend alternate actions
  • Experience of working with and influencing non-financial stakeholders
  • Proven ability to challenge & influence key business stakeholders to develop ‘win win’ solutions
  • Previous experience in managing priorities and expectations
  • Ability to use systems in a commercial environment, e.g. Excel, databases, working knowledge on power BI will be desirable
  • Ideally CA, CPA or similar business qualification #LI-FIN
