About the role


We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Manager to join our dynamic and innovative team responsible for modernising our WMS (warehouse management system)
 

The purpose of the BA manager is to develop and manage the BA delivery plan and to utilise best in class processes to ensure requirements are elicited, tracked and resolved for the business. The BA manager will be accountable for documenting the solution and ensure that processes align to the objectives of the program.

Your stakeholder management skills are exceptional, as you will be required to proactively engage with business SMEs and manage and develop stakeholder relationships. As part of this role, you will also lead and mentor a high performing BA team.
 

You will develop the future state operational model and supporting solution documentation. This includes the planning and delivery of the Business Analyst steam in line with project requirements (risks, issues, fortnightly stream updates). You will be required to interpret and elicit requirements and to define business and functional requirements, as well as model ‘as is’ and develop ‘to be’ processes.
 

About you and your skills
 

  • Experienced in BA process mapping tools such as Lean I/O or other methodology.
  • Familiar with BPMN or value stream mapping practices
  • Previous experience in large scale technical change projects
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst/Manager role, ideally within a retail or project and product environment
  • Proven experience gathering, eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirements in a clear and consistent manner.
  • Strong Process mapping and documentation skills
  • Ability to self-mange work load and ensuring your deadlines and deliverables are achieved.
  • Significant experience supporting initiatives and projects in a large, complex organization
  • Ability to analyze and explain complex systems and concepts in accessible and easy to understand language
  • Logical approach to problem solving and ability to propose and review solutions
  • Big picture thinker who always considers the next step and impacts.
  • Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methods
