Business Analyst – Identity And Access Management Platforms.

About the role


Reporting to IAM Delivery Manager, your role will be to investigate problems and analyse options for new and existing platform services, providing recommendations to solutions and produces artefacts such as domain models, workflows, user stories and interface design.


This role will work in close collaboration with the Product Manager and Engineering Manager in maturing the product roadmap.


What you’ll be doing


The IAM team at Coles is critical to the protection of our internal assets and the assessment of potential incoming threats. Having performed in a similar role previously you will be able to analyse current services and processes, and then identify and implement opportunities to optimise them


You will facilitate collaboration and lead effective communication with all stakeholders to support design, build and delivery to meet the user needs for Identity products being engineered


Good things you’ll need:


  • Experience in accurately describing the problem statement, business impact and the technology solution approach
  • Ability to facilitate and run workshops, showcases and other ceremonies to support product technology and product engineering activities (e.g. discovery, event storming, goal settings)
  • Experience in writing user stories for agile teams
  • Has a solid understanding of ‘systems of work’ (agile, non-agile, SDLC, CD), and is able to identify areas for improvement and drive change
  • Appropriate tertiary and/or industry experience;
  • Strong understanding of Agile development;
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Hands on experience working in complex technology environments using multiple delivery frameworks;
  • Understanding of contemporary identity patterns and techniques in cloud (Azure, AWS or Google) as well as on-premise (AD,LDAP); and
  • Experience working with identity platforms
