We have a great opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst in our finance Liquor Operations and Supply Chain Team. With a team of over 400 our finance team offers large scope for personal development and career opportunities. Working with key business units you will gain insight in to how our business runs and be part of key strategic initiatives. 

 

About the Role 

 

As Business Analyst you will Support establishing Technology Business management processes and initiatives. Leveraging your analytical skills to drive insights, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and enhance the value delivery of technology investments. , You’ll be responsible for:  

 

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data using the appropriate tools and other relevant sources, identifying cost drivers, trends, and patterns to support decision-making 
  • Prepare and deliver reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key insights, variances, and opportunities for cost optimisation. 
  • Assist in developing financial models and scenarios to evaluate the impact of investment decisions, supporting strategic recommendations and business cases. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, procurement, and business units, to gather requirements, address inquiries, and foster alignment on initiatives. 

 

About You and Your Skills 

 

You will be a technically astute finance professional who has had some exposure to commercial finance. You will be able to provide key analytical support and have the ability to grow and develop into a broader capacity. You will also have;

 

  • CA/CPA or similar business qualification or near with commercial awareness and business focus 
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • experience as a business analyst, financial analyst, or related role, preferably within a technology-focused organisation. 
  • Familiarity with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles and methodologies is a plus. 
  •  Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with experience using Apptio or similar TBM software solutions preferred. 
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and quality. 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
