Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.
<h3>About the Role</h3>
As a Business Analyst on the Supply Chain Projects team, you'll be a key player in supporting our Transformation agenda. You'll be responsible for supporting commercial decision making and driving continuous improvement across the projects and function, as well as providing quality control of the team’s analysis, challenging assumptions, providing additional insights and drawing out implications.
You will also be responsible for:
- Preparing plans and forecasts for projects and international supply chain activities
- Completing month-end processes and financial reporting for large-scale projects
- Conducting detailed investigations of complex data to find actionable insights and support decision-making
- Assisting with financial modeling and analysis to help shape short- and long-term business strategies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Delivering monthly reports with variance analysis and commentary
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, as well as assisting with audit documentation
<h3>About you and your skills</h3>
To be successful in this role, you should be a self-starter with a proactive approach to your work. Our ideal candidate will be adept at working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and various project teams. You will also have:
- Experience in retail/FMCG sectors or from big 4/mid-tier firms
- CPA or CA qualified
- Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes for projects
- Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling, as well as strong PowerPoint skills for turning data into clear insights
- Familiar with systems like SAP or TM1
