About the role
As the B2B Pricing & Optimisation Manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive pricing framework for Coles’ business customer propositions. This will involve driving end-to-end commercial pricing strategies across the B2B business, while also identifying and implementing efficiency opportunities that optimise costs.
Key responsibilities include
- Designing and executing pricing frameworks that align with Coles’ business customer needs and growth objectives.
- Driving commercial pricing propositions from end-to-end, ensuring they are competitive and support profitable sales growth.
- Identifying B2B efficiency opportunities and designing solutions that optimise cost and improve business performance.
- Influencing key stakeholders across the business to adopt best pricing practices and educating teams on the commercial value and potential of pricing strategies.
- Optimising B2B processes to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Supply Chain, and Range teams to develop tailored customer propositions that maximise profitability.
- Continuously monitoring and refining pricing strategies to ensure they remain aligned with market dynamics and business objectives.
About You
- Proven experience in pricing strategy and commercial optimisation, ideally within a B2B context.
- Strong understanding of pricing frameworks and how to apply them to different customer segments.
- Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Product, and Supply Chain to deliver impactful results.
- A focus on delivering cost efficiencies and optimising business processes.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess pricing data, identify opportunities, and act on insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to educate and influence key decision-makers.
- A deep understanding of B2B commercial environments and how to drive growth through tailored propositions.
