About the role
Coles is looking for a results-driven B2B Business Development Manager to expand our business customer base and drive profitable growth for Coles Online. This role involves analysing customer data to identify opportunities, managing the end-to-end sales process for new prospects, and providing dedicated support to B2B clients at the state level. You will work closely with internal teams to implement B2B projects effectively while ensuring a seamless in-store experience. Additionally, you will deliver exceptional after-sales service to key customers, fostering long-term partnerships and success.
About you and your skills
- Proven Commercial Analysis background
- Business Development / sales background
- Experience selling into multiple industries
- Proven track record of winning business and managing key accounts
- Experience managing a large territory
- Experience working in a mid to large size organisation
- Developed strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Commercial Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional teams, liaising, coordinating and resolving issues for people from diverse industries and backgrounds
- Proven problem solving skills, capable of demonstrating initiative to resolve issues and know when to escalate
- Ability to present to external stakeholders at varying levels eg. General Manager, owner, centre manager, procurement officer
- The ability to travel periodically to Coles Online stores and key customers within the designated territory
- Ability to work cross functionally with support centre teams (marketing, operations, IT, merchandise)
- Demonstrated resilience, able to manage competing demands and deliver when under time pressure
- Intermediate Windows application skills (Excel / Powerpoint etc)
