About the role

By combining the fast-paced culture of retail with the ever-growing world of ecommerce, Coles Online takes the time and effort out of grocery shopping. With services such as Home Delivery, Click & Collect and smart lockers, we’re always working on new ways to make life a little easier for our customers – no matter where they are.Our eCommerce function is currently undergoing an exciting transformation journey and is now seeking an Associate Product Manager to join the Last Mile transformation squad. You will be responsible for the design of automated fulfillment solutions in the Coles Online network, including working with vendors on warehouse automation, design, and reduced cost to serve.

 

 

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Product Manage of the Last Mile transformation squad you will build out operating models and end to end process maps in discussion with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

 

You will also:

  • Support defining the backlog for their squad based on Squad and Crew OKRs, working closely with Product Manager and Group Product Manager to ensure the backlog aligns with the business and product strategies.
  • Support the product process from setting objectives to competitive research to writing requirements, to launching, testing, and monitoring
  • Work with Network Planning, Digital Product, Commercial teams to determine best vendors and solutions
  • Identify trends in customer behaviour and emerging technology

 

 

Good things you’ll need

We’re after a  project management or supply chain professional with a track record of delivering measurable results for both users and the business ideally within large, complex organisations.

 

You’ll also need:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the E-commerce last mile industry operations including supply chain strategy and network optimisation
  • Experienced in communicating and rationalising product design decisions to a diverse range of stakeholders (both technical and non- technical).
  • Experience working in fast paced environments and comfortable with change
  • Skilled in translating business process and customer insights into product concepts and solutions.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills. Written communication that is clear and effective.
