About the team

Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. As a part of the Technology team, you get the opportunity to work through complex, challenging, meaningful problems using large data sets and new technologies to expand your skills and experience.

The Supply Chain Replenishment & Forecasting team is part of the broader Technology function and plays a critical role in enabling efficient, data-driven operations across the business. We deliver high quality technology solutions that strengthen Replenishment, Forecasting, and Commercial capabilities.

Our platforms support a wide portfolio of business critical applications used across Supply Chain operations and commercial teams. As we modernise our technology landscape, this domain is central to improving scalability, automation, and decision making across the organisation.

About the Role

As an Architect in the Replenishment & Forecasting domain, you will shape and deliver scalable, future ready solutions that support stores and supply chain operations end to end.

You’ll be responsible for designing clear, secure, and pragmatic architectures aligned to enterprise strategy—while ensuring they are actionable for delivery teams. Working closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders, you’ll translate strategic objectives into tangible technical designs that deliver measurable business outcomes.

This is a hands on architecture role embedded within agile teams. You’ll guide design and implementation, solve complex technical problems, and promote best practices across engineering, integration, and system design.

You’ll also strengthen architecture governance by ensuring consistency across platforms, contributing to Design Authority forums, and guiding architectural decisions in complex, cross domain environments. As a trusted advisor, you’ll partner with senior stakeholders to shape roadmaps and ensure alignment between commercial priorities and long term technology strategy.

Beyond delivery, you’ll drive innovation across the domain—exploring and validating emerging technologies such as AI, automation, IoT, and advanced analytics. You’ll lead proof of concepts and support the adoption of modern engineering practices, including cloud native development, microservices, DevOps, and API first design.
