<h3>About the role</h3>


As Analytics Manager - Payments, you will shape the analytics function, lead a team of analysts, and drive strategies that influence key business decisions. You’ll ensure data needs are met across projects and deliver insights that enhance operational and commercial outcomes. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts to deliver high-quality reporting and insights.
  • Develop and implement strategies for data analysis, reporting, and monetisation.
  • Define metrics and data sources to support forecasting and reconciliation of complex transactions and fees.
  • Build strong engagement with brand partners to deliver a best-in-class payments data platform.
  • Oversee analytics operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Transform raw data into actionable insights through effective reporting systems.
  • Partner across projects to ensure business data requirements are met.
  • Provide detailed analysis to support business cases and commercial negotiations.
  • Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and explain variances to drive performance improvements.
  • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and optimise outcomes.

<h3>About you and your skills</h3>


We’re seeking an experienced analytics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strategic mindset to data-driven decision making. You will bring:

  • Proven experience in analytics or business insights, ideally within Financial Services.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Influencing skills to navigate complex internal and external environments.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives and regulators.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing data projects.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strategic outlook.
  • Knowledge and experience in AI and how we apply in data assets would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in analytical and BI tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Expert-level Excel skills and strong Microsoft Suite proficiency.
  • A naturally curious mindset with the confidence to challenge existing practices.
