About the team
Our Coles Liquor team work across three leading brands (Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars), each with their own unique offering and customer base. With a network of more than 930 stores and ultra-convenient online sites, delivering on our commitment to provide accessible drink solutions for every occasion.
About the role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will deliver the planning and execution of all non BAU trade activity, including campaigns, retail media and in store activations. You will lead and land these initiatives whilst re-setting the framework and ways of working to improve efficiencies in this space.
Additionally, you will offer insights that equip stakeholders with critical information to guide future non BAU trade activity.
You’ll also:
- Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of campaigns and store activations, ensuring they are delivered on time, in full and within budget
- Oversee stakeholder accountability and ensure alignment with the critical path for successful campaign execution
- Continuously improve store activation processes and frameworks for efficiency
- Lead the management and execution of the Retail Media activity that falls into the trade planning function
- Build and deliver a consistent reporting framework for campaigns and store activations which can support category decision making for future events
- Work closely with the Trade Planning Manager to dovetail Retail Activations with BAU Trade Plan
- Identify cost-saving opportunities on all POS assets
About you and your skills
We’re looking for an experienced leader who has proven experience in delivering the planning and execution of trade activity in a retail or FMCG environment. Liquor experience preferred.
You’ll also need:
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels and work cross-functionally
- High attention to detail, along with strong organisational and planning skills
- Knowledge of Trade Practices and general compliance in the retail industry
- Knowledge of POS print and production processes
- Ability to work within tight timeframes, embrace change and delivery excellence every time
- Ability to assess activities both qualitatively and quantitively and develop recommendations for improvement
