About the role


As the Accounts Payable Coordinator, you’ll support supplier accounts helping resolve queries including claim deductions and payment discrepancies. You’ll use analysis and problem-solving skills to investigate issues, support accurate payments and improve the way we work. This is an eight-month fixed-term contract through to the end of March 2027, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution within a collaborative finance team. You will also:

  • Manage and resolve supplier queries, including claim deduction matters
  • Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Review reports, identify root causes and recommend practical solutions
  • Work with internal teams, suppliers and service providers to resolve payment issues
  • Support accurate and timely accounts payable processes across a high-volume retail environment
  • Contribute to process improvements, governance and clear procedure documentation

About you and your skills


You’re an experienced accounts payable professional who can manage competing priorities, think critically and adapt when requirements change. You communicate clearly, work well with a range of stakeholders and take pride in resolving issues accurately and on time. You will have:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable role within a retail/FMCG or a complex environment
  • Strong reconciliation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience using SAP or a similar enterprise resource planning system
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve complex queries
