About the role

 

As the Accounting Policy Lead, you’ll lead management of Coles group accounting policies, lead provision of technical accounting guidance and support including technical training to Coles and lead preparation of financial statements templates and Operating Financial Review.

 

 

What you’ll be doing

 

Reporting into the External Reporting & Financial Governance Manager to support delivery of Coles half yearly financial statements and support delivery of Audit & Risk Committee reporting.

 

 

Good things you’ll need

 

  • Tertiary accounting qualification (Bachelor of Commerce or similar)
  • CA/CPA with post qualification experience
  • Significant experience in an external audit or a similar financial control/financial policy role within an organisation
  • Experience working with large corporates. Retail or listed companies would be preferred but not essential
  • Experience collaborating and coordinating with a broad range of stakeholders across a business
  • Experience with report writing: Board / A&RC reports and financial governance policies #LI-FIN
