About the Role

 

We are seeking a passionate and experienced P&C Advisor to join our team at the Eastern Creek Distribution Centre. This role will also provide support to other Coles Distribution Centres (DCs) servicing three sites in total. This is a fantastic opportunity for a P&C professional looking to grow their career with Coles. 

This role will be the initial “face of the DC” and key to living the Coles Values throughout the process. The role will be a critical link between the onsite team and central P&C functions and responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the ways of working.  
  
Your key to success will be your ability to operate within a fast paced and changing environment, where continuous improvement initiatives to simplify and enhance the team member experience will be critical.   

 

 

What you will be doing: 

 

  • Partner with and support leaders in coaching and development. 
  • Assist in the execution of the people strategy. 
  • Build capability within the team. 
  • Provide support to Business Partners (BPs) in various HR functions. 
  • Support delivery of People Metrics. 
  • Ensure P&C processes and policies are robustly applied in a way that ensures business objectives are met and respect and care for team members maintained; and,   
  • Drive continuous improvement in every aspect of your role.

Ideally you will have: 

 

  • A minimum of 2 years P&C generalist experience, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing environments. 
  • Strong coaching and partnering skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
