About the role
As the Store Planner you will deliver store design, planning and site documentation outcomes in support of the VER network development pipeline, which comprise of capital works program and initiatives, asset integrity upgrades, major redevelopments along with minor refurbishments across a large and expansive portfolio of forecourt, fuel and convenience shop projects.
You’ll also:
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver documentation consistent with business and brand requirements
• Directly develop and contribute to documentation utilizing CAD and Revit
• Support Planning and Building Approval activities, including developing inputs to required reports and studies and development of documentation
• Deliver compliant documentation and designs in conjunction with operations and compliance team (i.e. food safety, work safe, dangerous goods, etc).
• Work with the Town Planning Manager and Designers/Branding teams for early identification of anticipated Planning requirements
• Ensure Planning requirements are captured within project scopes
• Develop and maintain records of Planning outcomes and requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with key providers/consultants to support design development and documentation through all stages of development and construction
About you and your skills
We are looking for a knowledgeable Store Planner with extensive experience in delivering projects in fast paced growth environments under a structured framework.
You’ll also have:
• Experience in retail, QSR or Service Station documentation
• Tertiary qualification in relevant area (eg. Design, Architecture, Town Planning)
• Drafting capability and experience utilizing Revit and CAD
• Town Planning experience with Service Station, QSR or retail highly regarded
• Understanding of design and construction concepts and implementation.
• Understanding of cost and implications of design.
• Knowledge of safe design and understanding of safety in design legislations
