About the role

As a Senior Category Media Specialist, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth through strong, strategic partnerships with our brand partners. Acting as a senior commercial lead within your category, you’ll identify opportunities to connect brands with impactful marketing solutions that align to their business objectives.

In this role, you’ll operate as a trusted advisor, using data, category insights, and a deep understanding of client needs to shape and recommend tailored media opportunities. Your ability to build credibility and foster long-term relationships will be critical in influencing investment decisions and delivering sustainable revenue outcomes.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll ensure our media offering is well-positioned, commercially compelling, and consistently aligned to both client goals and broader business targets.

Sales & Revenue Leadership

  • Own and drive end-to-end sales of media campaign packages, from prospecting through to close.
  • Build, manage, and continuously optimise a high-performing sales pipeline, identifying new revenue opportunities across your category.
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets through proactive selling and strategic account growth.
  • Lead commercial conversations with brands, confidently pitching tailored media solutions that align to their business objectives.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximise client investment and long-term value.

Commercial Strategy & Insights

  • Leverage sales data, category performance, and market insights to inform and strengthen your sales approach.
  • Develop compelling, insight-led narratives that support commercial pitches and unlock new investment.
  • Accurately forecast revenue, proactively identifying risks and opportunities to maintain momentum against targets.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong, commercially focused relationships with brand partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted commercial partner, influencing decision-making and positioning our media solutions as a key driver of brand growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless sales experience and delivery alignment—without owning campaign execution.

Leadership & Team Contribution

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, uplifting overall sales capability and performance.
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture that prioritises accountability, results, and continuous improvement.
  • Share best practices, insights, and winning strategies to strengthen the broader team’s commercial impact.
